Heirloom Denim Western Shirts From Folk Fibers

Levi’s Made Here recently collaborated with our friend Maura Ambrose, the artisan behind the Austin, Texas-based Folk Fibers, to create a small collection of one-of-a-kind denim Western shirts. Maura hand-quilted vintage Levi’s denim shirts with imagery like suns, moons, and thunderbirds., and mended tears and holes by hand to add a unique, heirloom quality to the denim.

Folk Fibers goods are steeped in all-natural “substantive” dyes, which are derived from the indigo, cochineal, walnut hulls, and onion skins that Maura grows organically and harvests in Austin.

These shirts are now available in Levi’s stores in Malibu, San Francisco (Castro & Levi’s Plaza), and NYC’s Meatpacking District.
